    Nutmeg is an evergreen tree of the genus Myristicaceae. Mainly produced in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, China's Sichuan, Guangxi. Nutmeg oil was obtained by steam distillation of dried seeds, and the oil yield was 6%~10%. Nutmeg oil is a colorless to light yellow liquid with a relative density of 0.8555~0.9777 (20℃) and a refractive index of 1.475~1.488. It has a rich sweet and spicy flavor.
